Ashani Fernando is a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo, currently on study leave while pursuing an International PhD in National Economics at Peking University.
Her research focuses on health economics, development economics, energy and environmental economics, applied econometrics, and the economics of higher education. She has teaching and research experience in macroeconomics, environmental economics, health economics and econometrics.
