Santushi Amarasuriya is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Medical Humanities. She is a Clinical Psychologist by profession and also has a PhD from the University of Melbourne. She joined the Faculty of Medicine as the first permanent academic staff member recruited to the Behavioural Sciences Stream in 2006. After the establishment of the Department of Medical Humanities in 2016 at the Faculty of Medicine, she joined this Department of Medical Humanities as the first Senior Lecturer of this Department.
