BIOGRAPHY

Dr. R. M. D. A. Amarasiri graduated from Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo with a First-class in Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery degree. During her undergraduate period, she was awarded with Dr. Jayantha Edirisinghe Prize, Oriental Medical Science Fund Annual Prize and Professor Sarath Gamini Ranasinghe Gold Medal.  After one year internship, she was appointed as a Temporary Demonstrator in the Unit of Deshiya Chikithsa for one year. Now she is currently serving as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Unit of Maulika Siddhantha.
