Dinithi Karunanayake is a Senior Lecturer in English at the Department of English, University of Colombo, Sri Lankna. She holds a BA (Hons.) in English from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, an MA in Comparative Literature (Asia/Africa) from the University of London, UK and a PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies, University of Manchester, UK. She teaches courses in Translation Studies, South Asian Literature and Postcolonial African Writing. Her research interests include theatre/performance, activism, social movements especially in relation to translation, literary translation, postcolonial literature and digital ethics and pedagogy.
