• Recipient of the International Christopher Brumfit scholarship offered by the British Association of Applied Linguistics (BAAL) in September 2022.

• Awarded the GAPS travel grant to attend the GAPS international conference at Goethe University Frankfurt in May 2022.

• Recipient of the Goethe Graduation scholarship for international students in 2022.

• Selected as an Exchange student from the department of English University of Colombo to Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany and spent the summer semester in JLU from April – August (2016).
