Dr. Dineshani Hettiarachchi

Senior Lecturer at the Department of Anatomy,Genetics and Biomedical Informatics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. She’s a clinical member of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International (UDNI) and a steering committee member of the Global Genomic Medicine Collaborative (G2MC).

Dineshani is also a family physician, a council member and the Chair of the Continuing Professional Development subcommittee of the College of General Practitioners of Sri Lanka (CGPSL). She won the Zonta International Award for Young Women in Public Affairs in 2004 for her active participation in empowering young women. She was and the Charter President of the Young Zonta Club of Colombo and an alumni member of the global shapers community an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
